Hello rappers,

 

We have had a great time exploring verbs and rhyming words to prepare us for writing our poem about Grandma Poss and her magic.

 

We enjoyed reading all the other schools' rap responses. So many animals! We are new to living in Australia and had never heard of an echidna or a barramundi, so Mrs Bradley showed us some flashcards of Australian animals, birds and fish to expand our knowledge beyond Mem Fox's book, "Possum Magic".

 

Here is our verse:

 

She made wombats dance
and koalas shake.
She made snakes walk
and dingoes talk.

But the best magic of all was the magic that made Hush INVISIBLE.
