Dear rappers,
Greetings from 6B! Burwood PS is close to
Burwood railway station, in the inner west of Sydney.
We are within walking distance of Burwood and
Strathfield railway stations, and are served by many
bus routes in the 400 range, from the 408 to the 499,
which will take you to Bondi or the airport, or
Hurstville or Drummoyne in several directions!
Three of us travel by train, and three
travel by bus. Ten students come by car, and the rest
walk to school. There are 31 students in our class.
Our teacher (Mr Bain) comes by train, and walks from
the station. He says it is a 7-minute walk from
Burwood station, and the longest part is getting out
of Burwood station itself!!
We have a new Principal, Ms Doran, who
used to be Principal at Dulwich Hill PS. We have 3
sport houses, but are making a 4th sport house because
our numbers of students keep going up. We now have
531 students, up from 420 or so a year ago.
