A warm 'hello' to all fellow rappers from your RAP coordinator!
My name is Ingrid Weiss and I am located in Chippendale NSW. Chippendale is in the Sydney CBD and is a small area west of Central Station. The building where I work is attached to Central station and if I go out of the back of the building I come out on the west end of Platform 1 at Central Station. Platform 1 is where interstate trains arrive and depart. Although I am a teacher I am not teaching in a school at present but am on loan to StateRail to develop rail safety programs and resources for school students. StateRail has 61,000 school students who use train transport everyday to get to school. I am in the position of promoting rail safety messages to students in the same manner as Road Safety coordinators help teachers with Road Safety issues. Previously, I have taught in primary schools for over 22 years and a third of this time in years 5 & 6.
