Dear Everyone
Welcome to Kurrajong East Public School. Our school is in East Kurrajong. We think it is a bit funny that our school is called Kurrajong East when it is in East Kurrajong. There are 143 children at our school. We are Year 1 and there are 10 boys and 9 girls in our class. Can you work out how many altogether?
Mrs Raymond is our teacher. She is very nice and doesn't get cranky. We have some other teachers who work in our class. They are Mrs Hile, Mrs Petracco and Mrs Daddo. We are going to be doing the book rap in the library with Mr Wynn. He is our Principal.
We have never done a book rap before.
East Kurrajong is a great place to live because there are lots of trees around. Our school is near the Hawkesbury River.
