roadsafety_rap Rap point 2

Dear rappers

Your work and responses so far has been great !!! We agree, this book does tell us about staying safe and has lots of messages for all of us. This week you will be tellings us even more about your local area. Like Ben and Kim in the story you must also like to go places. You need to decide on the place most of the children at your school like to visit. You may get there other ways than in a car......

We can't wait to hear where that is...............

You may like to draw a little picture as a symbol for each of the places rappers suggest for their school on your rap map. Wow, that will look so cool!

Here's what you need to do.

 Rap point 2

Jeffrey’s family went somewhere in the car every day. Some Sundays they went for long drives to the country.

2a As a class, choose a place in the local area that most children like to visit and tell rappers why it is so cool.

2b Let rappers know what form of transport is usually used to get there.

2c Tell us the safety message you think goes best with the method of transport used to get there safely.

Send your answers to the rap so that other rappers can be more familiar with the kinds of places you like to visit. Here's the address:

We look forward to hearing from you soon,

Adam Wynn and Grace Palamara
