roadsafety_rap Rap point 1 continued

Dear Rappers, The policeman FAXED us back about the rule of carrying
dogs in cars and utes. It is a law to do with the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals Act 1979 and it says "a person must not carry or
convey a dog (other than a dog to work livestock), on the open back of
a moving vehicle on a public street unless the dog is restrained or
enclosed in such a way as to prevent the dog falling from the
vehicle." It also say it's against the law to carry a dog in a way
that it could be hurt so we think this means that you do need to have
a seatbelt for your dog in your car. Glenroi Heights Orange
