The classes all enjoyed “Jeffrey” and could understand
that the family would feel sad if Jeffrey could not
come with them on outings. The Dolphins said that they
always use their seat belts and that the song ”Click
Clack” would help them to remember and to remind their
parents to always buckle up their seat belts. The
Fireballs were worried that their dogs would be in
danger in the car if they weren’t strapped in,
especially as Big Ted (our biggest teddy bear) fell
off Mrs Rasaiah’s chair when he wasn’t strapped in
with a pretend seat belt. When he was strapped in he
didn’t move! The Lunch Boxes decided that Jeffrey’s
message was that the family had to solve a problem
because their dog was a very important part of their
family and needed to be cared for just like the
children. The Dragons liked finding the pages to stick
on the paw print messages and making mixed up animals
to put up on the library wall. We all laughed at
Jeffrey’s imaginary farm animals.
Everyone said that Jeffrey told us how to be SAFE.
