Hi Rappers! We are Year 9 students at Dulwich High,
aged 14 and 15 years. We are boys and girls and our
school is on the edge of Marrickville, in Sydney.
Our school was opened in 1885 and it may be closing.
Who knows? Do you remember visiting us last year,
Boori? We have a bushtucker area and our school is in
the middle of the shopping centre, but we can only go
there before and after school.
The city is 15-20 minutes away by bus or train. There
we can go to heaps of movie theatres, Intencity and
Timezone amusement centres.We can shop for everything
imagineable. Some we can afford and others we just
stare at.
Sport, movies and hanging with our friends seem to
take up most of our time, when we are not doing
homework or visiting our relies. We all went to
primary school together and our families came to
Australia from many countries.
A few of us have done boookrap before but the rest of
us are new to this kind of thing. We are excited but
also a bit anxious.
