"The Binna Binna Man" teaches us to be both a srtong
individual , who respects their culture and to be part
of a community.
To be a strong individual, you must have confidence,
having respect for yourself, control risky situations
and be proud of yourself.
To maintain your culture and be a good community
member, beleive in your traditions, your Dreaming
stories, respect your elders and don't let another
culture control you; lastly, protect and look after
your family.
A strong individual respects the power of spirituality
(binna binna man). Sister Girl and Shandell didn't
beleive and lost control- each got in trouble with
the Police and died, or could have died.
We have had to work really hard onthis rap and it has
been great to see what you have though too. it has
also been great to hear from you too, Meme and Boori.
