therabbits04_rap "Introducing" year 9 english in Tenterfield

G'day
We are the Tenterfield group of Year Nines who are participating in the book rap . Our group of 23 students are all from the top english  class and  we are eager to get into this program as opportunities like this don't often arise.
As with the other people participating in this program our town is quite small with a population of around 3500 and increasing. Our only high school (THS)  is also small with 350 students , with 80 of whom are in Year Nine, making it the biggest year group in the school.

Our town is situated in the shadow of the Great Dividing Range about 18 kms from the QLD border. Our town's population mainly consists of people on the land with 13 of our group living on properties.

Our town has also got a lot of historical sites. In particular the School of Arts which is the place that Sir Henry Parkes, commonly known as the "Father of Federation", made his famous speech. We have also got the "Tenterfield Saddlery" which is featured in the Peter Allen song of the similar name, hence our signature.
