Hi from Richmond River !. These are group A's first impressions of the cover of The Rabbits.
The dark sky represents an invasion, and the ship has a powerful glow
that stands out in the darkness. The rabbits are wearing strong dominant colours and the covering uniforms show the rabbits as having no emotion. The colours are dark and powerful and evil
The choice of images - the looming bow of the ship, the well armed rabbit soldiers in the foreground suggest dominance and a looming threat.
The modern objects are mostly pointy and sharp and clutter the foreground of the cover. The indiginous people are small and insignificant.
The positioning of this looming ship coming from the back cover to the front and the large images of the rabbit invaders contrasts with insignificant position of the tiny native animals placed to one side of the picture
The endless sails are blowing the flags back behind the ship and bring a storm full of destruction .The title is freaky with the White font on black .This represents the white foreigners are invading the the natives and their land. The white on back stands out and the font suggests fear especially the "T" as a cross .This could be death
