The page that we reviewed was the one without the colour.
This page displays the domination of the "Rabbit Society" depicted with the very monochromatic colouring and the symbolism of the hand holding the globe that features the Union Jack indicating world domination as well.
The illustration also shows the domination of the rabbits, and the cost of their occupation to the natural environment. The product of this destruction is the grey, barren, industrial society. This is further represented with the arrows that show the direction of what the land once was and where it is going. this theme is continued on the next double page.
The destruction of the environment is further illustrated with the engulfment of the sky by the building. The building also features the words MIGHT=RIGHT which also helps to represent the destruction that has come from this atitude.
Within the illustration the clocks are a prominent feature of the picture. They represent the structure of the rabbit society and the industrial nature of their domination.
Despite this destruction the yellow flower shows the enduring hope that still remains for the indiginous animals among the desolate city of grey and barreness.
Overall the page evokes our emotions particulary our emotion of sorrow for the destruction that the Rabbits have caused to the envirovment and to the indignous society.
