I hope you have enjoyed Rap Points 1 and 2, it has been interesting reading all your responses.
I do have a conscious strategy to illustrate tangentially, doing something quite removed from what the text is doing without losing the reference, so the mental circuit for the reader is quite convoluted, and therefore exciting (I hope). (Shaun Tan) |
What questions would you like to ask Shaun Tan regarding his choice of techniques in The rabbits or other books he has written or illustrated?
Post your questions to Shaun Tan, once the teacher has approved the final text. Each class group could post three to five questions, unless otherwise advised by the rap coordinator. In your subject line insert Questions for Shaun from [insert school name]. Try not to repeat questions asked by other class groups.
Please check the book rap archives before you post your questions to Shaun to make sure that they have not already been asked. Duplicate questions will not necessarily be answered.
It may take Shaun a few days to reply to your questions, so keep checking your emails for your answers, and to see his replies to other schools questions.
Please remember to put Rap point 3 Questions for Shaun Tan from ....... School in your subject line.
Also to put your signature, ie students names (no surnames) and school, at the bottom of your responses.
So, have fun working out your questions. I look forward to reading your questions and Shaun's responses.
Cheers
