We're the clueless group of Engadine High School and for rap point 2 we have decided to comment on the 8th double page that reads "Still more of them came. Sometime we had fights, but there were too many rabbits.We believe this page had an impact on us because it has very dark and gloomy colours. As soon as you turn the page you go into darkness which is very saddening.
This page is also a very violent page. The rabbits are fighting the aboriginals with machine guns and big machines but all the little creatures have is spears and axes. This had an impact on us because it shows us just how hard it was for the Aboriginals when the white people invaded them. It also showed us just how evil the world can be.The rabbits on this page are also very sharp and angular and this gives them a sense of evilness and disrespect.The black and white photos on the page suggest that this moment in history is capured in a photo and frozen in time. The bilbies were caught unexpectedly and their resistance seemed futile being outnumbered and outgunned.
Dragons EHS We chose this double page because of the colours they used. The colours were dark and gloomy and made the whole picture stand out by the point of view. The picture stood out not only by the dark colours but by the type of texture they used. The backround was smudged and had alot of dark features and shapes that dont stand out as much as you would like them too.
The backround stands out enormously and takes up most of this picture. Also the style of it and how they put this picture in perspective.
The lines are also heading in all different directions and put the picture in a certain way.The land is bare and brown and the wind blows across the empty plains. The picture is mainly a dark texture and doesnt reallyexplain much but emptyness.
