Thanks for all the interesting introductions and postings about Rap Point 1.
After reading how other cultures celebrate rites of passage, I think there
will be a few students glad to be growing up in Australia!
This week, we are getting into the nitty gritty! We are looking at the
filmic techniques used in the 'Paikea and the Boat Launch' scene and
discussing how the audience is positioned. Don't forget to use the
resources available on the Whale Rider Rap site if you need help. I look
forward to hearing your responses about this scene.
