whalerider05_rap Paikea and the Boat Launch- Jessie, Aiden, Sarah, Josh

A film technique used in this scene would be the camera angle when the boat
was being launched: by looking up at the boat the effect was one of pride
and unity in culture.

When the boat was sailing away into the sunshine, the effect was one of a
positive outlook for the future. The midshot of Paikea and Koro together
showed the image of forgiveness and unity.

The lighting in this scene was bright and sunny. The effect of this was to
show that the future looks positive and all the problems have been solved.

As the sound of the group's singing gets louder, this shows togetherness in
culture.

By Jessie, Aiden, Sarah, Josh
