The low camera angle looking up at the boat was a good technique to show the
ending of the previous scene in the hospital. The new scene gives a sense
of awe and power. The boat symbolises a unified tribe who have come
together with pride and strength in their culture. The long shot of the boat
going towards the horizon shows the tribe having a bright future.
