whalerider05_rap Positioning



Hello. The Rhymencerous are here to tell you how we were positioned in Whale 
Rider.

Obviously most people felt sympathy for Paikea as she was facing all odds.

I (Oz) and him (Joe) also think the Grandfather was victimised in the movie. 
Sure he was a grumpy old man but he was caught in a time of change and 
wasn't sure what exactly to do.

But us more normal people who can handle being part of the crowd think that 
Paikea's grandfather was a sour old man who was too caught up in trying to 
find a Male leader of his people that he overlooked the truth that would 
lead to their ultimate well being, or something like that. Normal people.
