wilfrid_rap Introduction

Hey Rapppers,

We are K/1 at Gol Gol Public School and we like to play heaps of games like duck duck goose and kick ball. We have 180 students at our school.

Our school is on the border near Mildura on the banks of the mighty Murray River. We grow different types of fruit and grapes around our area and our school has its own fruit block where wine grapes are grown.

This is the first time our class has done a book rap and we are doing it with Mrs Anderson our class teacher and Mrs Mason our  teacher librarian.

We like all sorts of sports and we are practising hard at the moment for our cross country race which is this Friday.

Our school Country Fair was held last weekend. It was great fun. At the fair we had a Yabby Race and the Cow Pat Drop Raffle. (Rosie the Cow comes to the school oval and walks around a group of squares like a huge grid. Each square has a number and when Rosie does a “poop” in one of the numbered squares the person with that number wins $500.00.) Sadly nobody in our class won this year.

We try hard with our work and we think we will have fun with this rap

Only one person in our class has four names like Wilfrid.
