Hi, we're in 3/4K from Arncliffe Public School.
Arncliffe is a suburb near the city of Sydney and
close to Sydney Airport.In fact, we can clearly see
the aeroplanes on the tarmac from our playground. Our
school is on the Princes Highway.
Our playground is huge and very, very new but our
classrooms are much older. Actually, the teachers'
sandstone staffroom was built in 1878 (that's 125
years old!)and was the original schoolhouse.
We have 25 children in our class, 13 boys and 12 girls
all from different nationalities including: Arabic,
Macedonian, Indian, Greek, Serbian, Egyptian, Italian,
Pakistani and Uruguayan.
We're very excited about joining the Book Rap because
it's our first one ever and this term we're studying
picture books with a social message. We are all
looking forward to receiving your E-mails.
