2H talked about another character for quite a while. We actually had to take a vote to see which character we would write about as we thought of many different ones. The character we chose was based on Brendan's father (a little boy in our class):
"Mr Slater who saved things for later". Mr Slater would tell Wilfrid that "a memory is something that you keep, my friend, something that you keep." We thought that a teddy bear would be the perfect object for this kind of memory because usually people keep their teddies from when they were little. Wilfrid would give Miss Nancy the teddy and it would remind her of the time she played with it with her brother before he went off to war.
We hope you liked our character as we had lots of fun deciding on one to write about. We all loved reading about your characters too.
