We all agreed that Dusting and Millicent don't like each other. Many of us thought it might have been because they both wanted to have Thesaurus as their own best friend.
Theasaurus's conflict was that he didn't want to choose between Dusting and Millicent. He was really troubled by this and that is why he sought advice over the telephone when he was in the factory. He really wanted them to both be friends.
Another conflict faced by Thesaurus was that he was perplexed by his father's unusual behaviour.
4K decided much of the conflict between Dusting and Millicent was due to personality conflict between the two of them - eg
Millicent is smart, sensible, bossy, boastful and inflexible
and
Dusting is a bully, an intimidator and he
also believes in the supernatural.
