A number of scholarships, grants and allowances are available to assist students with their education.

  • The Education Tax Refund (ETR) is a new government initiative to help with the cost of educating primary and secondary school children. It means eligible parents, carers, legal guardians and independent students could get 50% back on some education expenses. This includes items like computers, educational software, textbooks and stationery.
  • Special Needs Transport Service
    The Department arranges transport to and/or from school for some students with disabilities, behaviour disorders and learning difficulties, when the parents or caregivers responsible for transport are unable to do so.
  • NSW Government Assistance for Secondary Students
    The NSW State Government provides funds to assist eligible families with school-related expenses.
