Schools at risk of bushfire
The department has conducted assessments of all NSW government schools in bushfire prone areas to determine the level of risk for bushfire.

Schools in bushfire prone areas
These schools undertake planning and preparation for the bushfire season but will continue to operate regardless of fire weather ratings during the year. Schools will monitor local conditions during the bushfire season, particularly when there is bushfire activity in the area.

Schools in bushfire prone areas at high risk
These schools undertake planning and preparation for the bushfire season and will temporarily cease operations on days when there is a catastrophic fire danger rating issued for their location.
