Coastal Leadership for Aboriginal Secondary Students (CLASS) targets secondary schools in the Central Coast Region. Meetings and camps are held that aim to develop skills in public speaking, goal setting, peer support and mediation, meeting procedures and cultural awareness.

A recent CLASS Committee set a goal of taking a group to Moree for Croc Fest. Students were involved in meetings, planning, developing and rehearsing.

Thirty six students from 13 Central Coast secondary schools travelled to Moree to perform 'Darkinjung Dreaming' an eight minute celebration of Darkinjung culture from the Dreamtime to the present.

Students remained highly motivated and were invited to perform at various venues on the Central Coast. They all wanted to return to Croc Fest and include the local primary schools.
