Student Leadership Programs for Aboriginal Students

Aboriginal student leadership opportunities help Aboriginal students to participate and take on leadership roles in their school community. Inclusive student leadership activities assist all students to develop strategies to improve equity, fairness and the quality of school life for all students. Aboriginal students have opportunities to become leaders in their school Student Representative Councils or equivalent student leadership groups.

The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc supports Aboriginal student leadership. Junior Aboriginal Education Consultative Groups operate in some educational regions.
