A well designed web site allows visitors to easily access the information that is provided.

There are some excellent sites on the Internet that can assist with the general design of a web site. A selection of sites on design issues have been included below:

Don't forget that a web site must be easy to read and able to be downloaded at a reasonable speed.

Different operating systems have different colour palettes and different browsers will render pages differently, so check the site on both Apple Macintosh and Windows-based computers.
